Katherine is an associate at Beckett. She works in both the Plaintiff Injury Group and the Insurance Defence Group.
Katherine was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (with distinction) from the University of Western Ontario in 2007. She earned her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2010. Katherine was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011.
Katherine’s practice focuses on representing people who have been injured in car accidents, slip and falls and other incidents. She also defends insurance-related lawsuits, which has provided her with valuable insight into the complexities of insurance.
Katherine has represented clients in the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Smalls Claim Court, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the License Appeal Tribunal.
Katherine is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Middlesex Law Association.
In 2017, Katherine completed a trial workshop presented by The Advocates Society to further develop her trial skills and strategy.
Outside of the practice of law, Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and golden retriever. She also enjoys travelling and playing tennis.
