Shane Roberts
Associate Lawyer
Shane is an associate at Beckett. He primarily works in the Plaintiff Personal Injury Group and Sexual Abuse Department.
Shane’s practice at Beckett focuses on advocating for victims of sexual assault and abuse, as well as representing people who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions and slip and falls. Shane draws from his background in competitive sports to employ a hardworking and disciplined approach when advocating for clients.
Born and raised in London, Ontario, Shane earned his Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts in History from the University of Western Ontario in 2016 and 2018. During his time at Western, he competed on the varsity cross country and track & field teams and was an Editor for the Western Gazette student newspaper. Following his undergraduate and graduate studies, Shane obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2022. During his time at Windsor, he acted as a faculty research assistant and participated in many intramural sports.
Shane was called to the Ontario bar in June 2023 after completing his articles with Beckett. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Middlesex Law Association.
Outside of the office, Shane is an avid golfer and long-distance runner. In the evenings, and on weekends, you can often find him on the golf course or a running trail.
